About Hadrianus Boutique Hotel


Antalya's Old Town may be awash with lovely small hotels but Hotel Hadrianus is still a welcome addition.
   The heart of the hotel is the pretty garden where all the plants are labeled in English and Turkish. Mirrors, wind chimes, old pots and pieces of ancient column serve as conversation pieces while mosaics laid around the old well give a post-modern twist to something once so central to local life. They hint, too, at an interior design which cleverfully mixes and matches the antique (Ms Þerifoðlu was an antique dealer in previous life) and the modern: classy, up-to-the-minute bathrooms alongside neo-Ottoman fabrics on the beds and pieces of real old Ottoman wedding dresses on the walls.
   Bedrooms may be compact but there's plenty of space in the garden to play chess, read a book or listen to mellow music
